AL-Qadisiyah Journal of Biotechnology (QJBT) is published by the University of Al-Qadisiyah, a public higher-education institution located in Al-Qadisiyah Governorate, Iraq. The University supports academic education, scientific research, and knowledge dissemination across a broad range of scientific and professional disciplines.

The journal is academically affiliated with the College of Biotechnology, University of Al-Qadisiyah. Established in 2014, the College is dedicated to education and research in biotechnology and comprises two principal academic departments: Medical Biotechnology and Agricultural Biotechnology. Its academic and research activities encompass biotechnology applications in medical, agricultural, environmental, and related scientific fields.
